This decoder doesn't come with a card slot like our previous model, but a call to DSTV soon had me connected, using a serial number on the back of the device. Thanks Game for efficient service, and amazing price.

Often have to reset as the decoder hangs. Also playbacks can be jumpy

Fast reliable delivery I didn't expect it in less than 2 days of purchase.
I was desperate for a new decoder it took olny 15 minutes to have it up on running after arrival since the old one was old and not taking signal.

The Dstv Explora 3B decoder is great! It's a lot smaller than the older decoders which is good, and it works really well. I also think it's better that the smart cards are now built in.

I like the reduced size of the Explora 3B relative to previous versions. I am also glad that the smart card is built into the unit, there is no need to have a smart card that might fail or have poor connections.
