This little thing becomes pretty much useless in anything other than ideal circumstances. We did some side-by-side testing between this and the Bosch GLM20 (which has only half the range) - The Bosch got everything without a moment of trouble, while this one consistently fails to give a measurement if there's too much light - not even directly onto the lens. More range helps bugger-all if you can't use it outdoors.
