the snap-lock lid is impossible to close with damp hands with the result it keeps getting dropped.fortunately it hasn't cracked my tiles yet but I wont give it another chance it's just not worth it !

I have been using the Nivea Balm for over 20 years and there are two 'niggles' that annoy me:
1) The bottle is so heavy for holiday travel why can't a new lighter bottle be produced so that it is not taking up too much of my 20kg allowance on the plane? Or maybe a 'holiday bottle'?
2) The new round top is not helpful when trying to open the bottle after a wet shave it is too slippery.
Maybe you should consider a 'customer review panel' before making more changes?

It's hard to believe a company can make a change to a near perfect product. The new bottle top is almost impossible open/close with wet hands. It does make you wonder who tested this before putting it on the market. I'll be looking for a different balm unless they change back to the previous easy to open top.

Having used this product for several years, l was amazed when l purchased another bottle to find that Nivea had changed the shape of the screw top from rectangular to round. It might look aesthetically quite nice, but did no one test the opening and closing of the product with wet or greasy hands before putting on the market? Takes away any effects of razor burn & cools your face, great product.

I do like the balm, however you can't open it with wet or soapy hands. I put rubber bands around the top and even then, when you've got balm on it it's impossible to close. I have found an old soap dispenser which is the right container. Stop trying to be cool, make something work in the situation i.e. the bathroom not the sales counter.

... the lid is a really bad design. It's round, smooth, and difficult to open. Please go back to the old style lid or redesign the new lid with some grip.
